Named for an agile and voracious dinosaur, the Raptor SVT (constructed on the basis of the F-150) is the latest creation in the field of high-performance product from the truck division of Ford’s Special Vehicle Team.

Developed primarily as a function of participation in rallies-marathon through the desert (very popular in America) the Raptor SVT differs from the standard model for a light restyling of the front and especially for the mezzanine structure obtained by the adoption of new front and rear suspension.

Equipped initially with a V8 engine of 5.4 liters (3 valves per cylinder) capable of developing 320 bhp, will have later also of the new V8 engine of 6.2 of 400 hp. The Raptor SVT tires BF Goodrich All-Terrain on 17 “wheels, and his debut is expected in the next edition of the Baja 1000, the most famous American race reserved for off-road.
