You can find 2009 Nissan Frontier in multiple trim levels and also as a 4WD or 2WD King Cab or Crew Cab truck. You can choose from a 4 cylinder or V-6 engine or even a automatic or standard tranny.

The 4 cylinder or 4 speed combos is rated at 19 mpg city and at highway it is rated as 23 mpg as compared to 4 cylinders or automatic at 17/22. Whereas the V-6 /6 speed combo is rated at 16/20 and the V6 or automatic combo at 15/20. The 2.5L engine features all the latest technology which has variable valve timing and a variable intake system. You can expect very good performance from a 4 cylinder engine and is fun to drive especially for any base model truck. 2009 Nissan Frontier is easy to reach and operate dash controls. The seats though are not plush but are more than comfortable. The ride may seem stiff if the truck bed is left empty. While driving hands block the fuel and temp gauges. There is another disappointment in the 2009 Nissan Frontier that the fuel mileage is not that good and the King Cab rear seats do not have much leg room.
